To all the quibblers saying Belle SHOULD be in Ravenclaw, I disagree. Her Gryffindor bravery is more than shown in the way she gave up her freedom to save her father and pursued a mob of rioting villagers to try and save the beast.
The books say flat out that a person DOES have a choice - that a witch or wizard CAN be suitable for more than one house.
